After months of silence Towerable finally reveals its most anticipated release of 2026

Towerable has revealed their release plans for the upcoming season and fans are already ecstatic.

It's already June and we haven't heard anything from Towerable since their early March release of Autumn Stage Tower. That is, until now. In a recently blog post Towerable revealed to us their new towers, or rather some ideas of some towers. While they stated they wanted to keep some of the technical details (or really most details) under wraps because "people might copy it" essentially. Which I understand completely, but as a fan it's rather disappointing. Anyway, they still gave us some idea of what's coming next. Let's get into it.

In their blog post, Towerable teased three new ideas and strongly suggested a new major release for 2026. We'll get into the major release later in this article, but I first and foremost want to mention the two other seemlingly paused ideas beforehand.

Minor releases

From what I've read in the post their second idea was a cold, desolate, and fractured void of a tower surrounded by empty nothingness. What I'm confused on is how it's inspired by Resident Evil 9 or Requiem. This is no joke, in their blog post that's what they stated it was inspired by. While I'm not sure what that means or how they'd execute it, I'm still interested in what it would've been. It seems, by all accounts, to be scrapped as of now, so we might never see a release of Fractured Stage Tower by Towerable or what else the name could of actually been, but we don't see fans getting too dissapointed over it. Now what we have seen fans getting dissapointed over is the third release they teased...

The third releases, hinted as "Some sort of hazardous stage tower" seems to point to some sort of dangerous or deadly trap that players have to escape from. Towerable said that it was a special release with specially adapted and planned mechanics designed specifically for this release and this is what has really dissapointed some fans. Towerable has not yet responded to the small but still present demands for more information on this delayed release or really if it's coming at all yet. We reached out to Towerable for further comment but they did not get back to us.

The major release of the year

And onto the major release of the year, Towerable stated they were working on a new seasonal stage tower obby, much like Snowflake Stage Tower, saying they "wanted to pay homage to what got us here." This is what got fans excited for the future. Most people play Towerable for their seasonal towers and were reasonably ecstatic about how we could be getting a new Towerable winter release.

It doesn't stop there though. They also stated in their blog post that they had special mechanics lined up for this release as well. Let's keep in mind that special mechanics are really only down on occassion in obbies and really in tower obbies that's not really down at all, save for maybe EoTH towers. I don't know what this special mechanic will look like but I'm excited to see it.

Now, earlier I mentioned they did not give direct names for these towers, but based on how Towerable has named their previous games in the past I am confident I know what Towerable is going to name their next (and possibly only) major release of 2026. We know Towerable would never name it "Cold Stage Tower," so we can rule that out already. But, in the blog post they called it a "frosty stage tower" a whole lot and I believe that Towerable is giving as a slight nudge hidden in plain sight. I believe completely that the next major Towerable release with be, without a shadow in my mind, Frosty Stage Tower. To me, it just makes the most sense. Not only did they say it once, they said it twice. I do have to give a fair notice that this is speculation and I don't have any concrrete proof or anything, but that is my best guess so far. Who knows? Maybe more will come out soon.

And that about wraps up Towerable's first blog post in months. They never confirmed a release window but they did hint at the coming month, so keep a lookout! It looks to be a seasonal-exclusive so my bet's on the winter season where most of their players are (southern hemisphere).

Additionally, we asked Towerable for comment on the release window, but as stated, they did not get back to us in time.
